Fayetteville Board of Education

Minutes of the April 14, 2008 Special Meeting

The meeting convened at 11:00AM in the Adams Leadership Center with President Steve Percival presiding. The roll was called and board members John Delap, Tim Kring, Howard Hamilton, Steve Percival, Susan Heil and Becky Purcell were present.

The Board discussed information regarding the process for interviewing Dr. Richard Abernathy for the superintendent position. The following categories were identified from which to develop questions for the interview:

1. Vision
2. Internal Leadership
3. External Leadership
4. Student Achievement
5. District Communication
6. Finance/Fiscal Management
7. Safety/Security/Facilities
8. Technology

The Board then developed interview questions pertaining to each category.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:00PM.
