Minutes of the April 15, 2008 Special Meeting

The meeting convened at 5:00PM in the Adams Leadership Center with President Steve Percival presiding. The roll was called and board members John Delap, Tim Kring, Howard Hamilton, Steve Percival, Susan Heil, Tim Hudson and Becky Purcell were present.

The Board convened in executive session at 5:01PM to interview superintendent candidate Dr. Richard Abernathy.

The Board reconvened in open session at 9:00PM. Becky Purcell made a motion to continue the interview process with Dr. Richard Abernathy. Tim Kring seconded the motion, which passed by a 7-0 vote.

The Board discussed the next steps in the interview process within the district and community. The Board agreed to discuss and finalize the process at the April 24^th regular board meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:05PM.
