Minutes of the July 15, 2008 Special Meeting

The meeting convened at 5:30PM in the Adams Leadership Center with President Steve Percival presiding. The roll was called and Tim Kring, Howard Hamilton, Steve Percival, Susan Heil, Tim Hudson and Becky Purcell were present.

Board president Steve Percival announced that the meeting is being held to appoint a school board member to serve for August and September. The Board adjourned to executive session at 5:33PM to discuss the candidates for the vacant board position. During executive session, the Board interviewed each candidate.

The Board convened in open session at 8:55PM. Tim Hudson made a motion the Conrad Odom fill the vacant board position until the results of the next election are certified. Tim Kring seconded the motion, which was passed by a 6-0 vote. The meeting was adjourned at 8:56PM.
