MISSION STATEMENT

The basic mission of the
Fayetteville Child Nutrition Services
is to meet the nutritional needs of students
enrolled in the Fayetteville School District.

Our objectives are:

To provide students enrolled in the Fayetteville School District with a variety of quality, nutritious food choices.
To present students with opportunities for nutrition education.
To guide students in their practice of nutritious food choices.
To help students in meeting the dietary guidelines for Americans.
To promote school environments that allow adequate time to eat in pleasant surroundings with positive adult role modeling.
To create a food service team that works in cooperation with students, parents, teachers and staff, principals, superintendents, school board members, and the community.
