Minutes of the June 24, 2002 Special Meeting

The meeting convened at 12:00 PM in the Adams Leadership Center with President Steve Percival presiding.

Roll Call

The roll was called and board members Howard Hamilton, Laura Underwood, Steve Percival, Susan Heil, Christine Bell, and Malcolm McNair were present.

2002-03 Budget

Dr. Lisa Morstad presented the proposed budget for FY03. She discussed the changes in revenues and expenditures for FY03. The FY 2002-03 budget includes a step raise for all employees, a $1600 raise for certified employees, and a 3% raise for non-certified employees. Dr. Morstad also discussed the estimated debt service obligations and the proposed budget for M&O, transportation, food service, technology, curriculum and instruction, and program development. The Board will vote on the FY03 budget at the June 27^th board meeting.
