The Fayetteville School District will demonstrate excellence in every area of schooling and be ever responsive to the changing demands of a democracy. The district will have a strong symbiotic relationship with our community and parents. This relationship will be the key to providing a wide variety of educational experiences and ensuring that all children have the opportunity and the tools to realize their full potential. We will be a school district which views the community as an educational resource--one that provides students an opportunity to link ideas with practice and increase both relevance and motivation by becoming involved with real work and real problems. Our graduates will then be positioned for active and productive participation in our democratic society. Each graduate will also have a conscious responsibility for the destiny of our community, state, and country.
