“Our mission is to raise private funds for resources, programs and opportunities that are not available to our students through the district’s normal operating budget.” |
The Fayetteville Public Education Foundation is a private nonprofit foundation dedicated to enhancing the quality of public education in Fayetteville. Since its creation in 1992, FPEF has provided more than $700,000 in grants for projects in the Fayetteville Public Schools, and has created a permanent endowment of more than $2,000,000. Our vision is to underwrite excellence in the Fayetteville Public Schools by providing students, kindergarten through twelfth grade, with nationally competitive educational experiences designed to help them reach their full potential. The Foundation distributed $112,908.37 in grants and $13,436 in scholarships for a total of $126,344.37 to be awarded to our students and teachers for the 2008-2009 school year.
