Every Trace
By Gregg Main
| Imagine watching your father
get murdered right before your eyes. What would you do?
Would you go on with your life or would you do something about it?
Well, revenge is what Ellen Donnelly seeks.
Ellen has had a very hard life. She witnessed the murder at the age of six. Ever since that terrible night, she has had to deal with horrifying nightmares waking her up at all times of the night. She always knew that she had to do something about it. She just wasn’t sure what to do. There were two people who murdered Ellen’s father: Franklin Walker, who got caught and served thirty-five years in prison, and a mystery man who the police never found. One day, Ellen’s mother proposed a plan. She figured out a way to threaten Walker to get him to reveal the mystery man. Ellen and her mother worked on the plan for two years. No one knew what the two women were up to. When Ellen’s mother died, Ellen knew that she had to do it all on her own. There was no way this guy was getting away with it. When the timing was right, Ellen left to discover the truth without telling anyone, including her husband and sister. Every Trace by Gregg Main gave a look into the mind of three different characters: Ellen, Pete (her husband), and Franklin Walker. I think that really helped to add to the suspense of the book. Half of the time, I couldn’t put the book down. There was always a new twist or turn that I had to keep reading about. While reading, I found that I liked all the characters in one way or another. Some I admired, some I pitied, and some I even encouraged their actions. Even though the book was 400 pages, it didn’t take very long to read it. I thought the book was really good. I found that there wasn’t a single difficult aspect in the book. All kinds of people would enjoy this book. I think that suspense/thriller lovers would especially like it. So, if you are looking for a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat, I definitely suggest that you read this one. |
