Suffer the Child
By: Judith Spencer

This extremely sad story is a wonderful mystery and suspenseful book,  Suffer the Child is in some ways very scary but also the book is telling a true story of what this child went through her whole childhood life.  In this book the little girl has thirty-five different personalities both boys and girls and both young and old.  At two years old Jenny who in the book is a thirty –four-year-old girl who is quiet, gentle, and fearful was initiated into a Satanic Cult and at eleven years old she was ordered to kill.  Throughout the entire book her mother would get the cult to do horrifying things to her such as place Jenny in a box with rats and let them eat her until she turned deathly ill.

When I began this book I just knew  something would happen to this little girl. I just had to finish reading and find out.  I really loved the suspense fo this book but I didn't really like what they had to do to make it so wonderful.  The plot was excellent and it was very easy to follow. Suffer the Child is a 381 page book that once you start reading there is no way you could stop.  If you really enjoy reading about a person's true story, then this book would be a wonderful one to read.  It is very easy to follow and a very enjoyable mystery.  I would suggest anybody of a reasonable age to read this book.
