WHITE FANG
By Jack London

Imagine if you had the instincts of a wolf dog that was born in the wild.  What kinds of feelings would you have?  What would your personality be like?
In Jack London's White Fang, a litter of wolf dogs are born in the wild.  All die except for one whose name is White Fang.  The book also tells about White Fang's experiences throughout youth including being domesticated by Indians.  In the future White Fang has two other owners, one is cruel and one is kind.  White Fang travels with Scott(the kind one) and goes on a once in a lifetime adventure.
I think that this book is unlike other books because it lets you see things from an animal's point of view and not just from a human's.  The overall plot was pretty good but it did have some flaws such as not describing the surroundings enough.  The book uses a lot of complicated words but you can pretty much tell what the words mean by the text around it.
This book was fairly difficult to read because it switched from White Fang's view point to Scott's viewpoint often.  This complicated the story because sometimes I was not sure who was talking and thinking.
The book White Fang is very interesting, and I recommend it to anyone who likes animals.  Jack London has written many books on dogs, so if you like this one you will probably like the rest.
