Mission Statement

The mission of the Fayetteville Public Schools Library Program is to ensure that students use ideas and information effectively, enjoy reading, and exhibit a spirit of inquiry.

This mission is accomplished by:

•  Providing physical and intellectual access to information in a warm, stimulating, and safe environment.

•  Collaborating with fellow staff members to provide instruction, learning strategies, and practice in using ideas and information for effective learning.

•  Advocating the library program as an integral part of every student's education and preparation for lifelong learning.
