Project 21c: Bridging the Gap
Like all great marriages, ours is a journey: a journey to create a culture of excellence and to have the courage to change. Fayetteville Public Schools have begun work on an ambitious project to create a 21st century learning system to better address the gap between how students are educated and the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in college, career, and life. This curriculum goal is concurrent with our design of a new 21st century high school based on small learning communities.
Welcome to Fayetteville
Nestled in the hills of Northwest Arkansas, Fayetteville is home to more than 70,000 people and the University of Arkansas. Fayetteville Public Schools serve 8,400 students throughout nine elementary schools, three middle schools, two junior high schools, one high school, and an adult education center. Fayetteville is repeatedly cited as one of the most livable cities in America with a vibrant downtown, an arts scene, over 3,000 acres of community parks and lakes, and a dedication to trails and connectivity. The community is politically and culturally diverse and particularly fond of public engagement on all strategic planning matters.
We look forward to celebrating our marriage with you. Formal attire not required. ![]()
