'No Child Left Behind' Compliance
The reauthorized Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), also known as the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001, requires schools to provide many different kinds of information and notices to parents about their children’s school, academic progress, teachers, and more. In addition, the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) requires notification to the public of Fayetteville Schools that have been designated as “Schools in Need of Improvement.” If you need additional information regarding the district’s compliance with No Child Left Behind or ADE requirements, please contact Christie Jay, Director of Federal Programs, at 479-973-8678.
