Social Work Services
Every family faces difficult times. When it's time to seek help, Social Work Services are available to students and families in our schools. School Social Workers serve as a link between school, home, and community in an effort to support our students' academic and social success.
The goal of our department is to strengthen the relationship between a child's school and home through support and assistance in accessing community resources. We work to alleviate the factors that can interfere with a student's ability to learn and adjust in school.
Ananda Rosa provides social services to the Fayetteville High School ALLPS program and to all the schools who do not have a Social Worker housed in the building. Brandy Foshe is the full-time Social Worker for Owl Creek School. Sara Blickenstaff covers Asbell and Leverett Elementary Schools. Barbara Noland serves as the Community Services Coordinator while working to address dental and vision needs for our students.
Families in Transition
Marian Riner is the Families in Transition (FIT) Coordinator and works closely
with the School Social Workers to meet the needs of our students and
families. For more information about this program, click here.
