Special Services
All children have the ability to learn, but some face different challenges. Special services identifies and helps those students who need assistance in the standard classroom.
FPS Special Services serves more than 900 students with special needs in nearly 70 classrooms throughout the school district. Services provided include but are not limited to: speech/language therapy, pyschoeducational testing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work referrals, and instruction for vision and hearing impaired students.
